We have noticed over the past month when the season is coming to a close or yachts are preparing to leave for the Caribbean many non EU crew members are not realising that they have not correctly signed on or off their Yacht.
What does this mean?
When you fly into a EU country on arrival you must go with a cosignatory to Immigration and have your passport stamped so you can embark on the yacht, this stops your 90 days being consumed. If you do not do this and you consume your days, you could be classified as an illegal and when you go to the airport to fly home you can have up to a 5 year ban for entering any EU country.
