For yachts arriving in Palma from a non-EU country, obtaining Temporary Admission (TA) through Customs is not mandatory, but it is now strongly recommended.
Following recent changes, the Port Police no longer carry out the clearance procedure, making Customs the relevant authority for formalising the yacht’s arrival and status.
The procedure must be completed within 24 hours of arrival. Customs appointments are available Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 14:00, so advance planning is essential, especially for arrivals outside office hours or close to weekends.
